Marble ventures East

Marble flew East to take part in the 16th Maritime Security and Coastal Surveillance in Singapore this week as we look to expand our technology to South East Asia. Our innovative technology was demonstrated digitally (on video), which led to a high level of interest and subsequent discussions with local authorities from the region. We also took part in a workshop of collaboration between manned and unmanned patrol vehicles.

South East Asia has among the longest coastlines of the globe (Indonesia and the Philippines’s shorelines alone measure close to 10% of the World’s total) and are global hotspots for both trade and tourism. Countries have limited resources to protect them and are currently looking at new technologies to solve a growing list of problems from illegal fishing to drug smuggling.

We hope to be flying back soon to the region for future collaboration!
